CTK is a public corporation established by law. The state is not responsible for any CTK obligations and CTK is not responsible for any state obligations. CTK is not subsidized by the state. CTK is politically and financially independent. CTK´s motto is: speed – reliability – independence.
The agency has an extensive network of branches in the Czech Republic and correspondents in the main centres of Europe and the USA. CTK also uses the services of world news agencies such as Reuters, AFP, AP, ITAR-TASS, DPA, ANSA and EFE. CTK cooperates with many national agencies as well. CTK uses state-of-the-art technologies. It also provides technical services to its clients.
