Interdisciplinary research in the field of AI journalism, related ethics and computer science. These are the main goals of the Center of Artificial Intelligence Journalism (CAIJ). It was established at the beginning of 2019 at the Department of Journalism at Charles University in Prague.
CAIJ offers the students of Charles University courses that cover the advent of automated journalism and artificial intelligence journalism. The staff members of CAIJ popularize the latest knowledge in AI journalism, organize courses and workshops within the framework of lifelong learning of journalists, and seek additional funding for research and popularization of the issue.
